HOW CAN YOU DO YOUR PART?
Commitment to Sustainability
The head of the household will engage in the Sustainable Homes and Families (SH&F) assessment, answering questions about energy use, educational, financial, and personal needs. This is followed by a consultation with an SH&F consultant to establish clear sustainability goals.
Tailored Action Plan
The head of the household commits to collaborating with an SH&F representative to implement a customized plan aimed at reducing their carbon footprint by ten metric tons within one year, aligning with their predefined sustainability objectives.
Ongoing Engagement and Monitoring
Families will participate in monthly check-ins to monitor their CO2 consumption and progress. With continuous support from SH&F decarbonization experts, families are guided towards achieving their sustainability milestones through regular updates and carbon tracking.
SH&F Certification and Beyond
Upon meeting their sustainability goals and reducing their carbon footprint by ten metric tons, families will receive SH&F certification. Certified individuals, now recognized as Ecosystem Service Agents, are empowered to assist other families in achieving their sustainability goals and will be compensated for their efforts.
